The women’s committee raffled off the IAM LL743 Quilt which was made by Renee MacLean's mother at the August 9th Sunday meeting. The Committee raised $195.00 between the sales made at the Union Picnic and at the Union Hall. Joe Balgassi was the lucky winner and generously donated the quilt to the Hall for display.

The women’s committee would also like to give a special thanks to Vic Ghidoni for contributing his time and efforts in raising additional funds by selling Union Tee shirts for $5.00 each.
If anyone is interested in purchasing a Union Tee shirt, see any of the Women's Committee members or Vic Ghidoni.

Renee' MacLean's mother spent many hours in designing and sewing this wonderful quilt that displays the Local's logo. She donated it to the Women's Committee educational program to raise money.

Joe Balgassi name was pulled from the many tickets that were purchased recently for this wonderful hand made quilt from Renee' MacLean's mother. Joe was kind enough to donate this awesome quilt to the Local 743. This quilt will soon be put on display at the Local. When you see Joe next time make sure you thank him for his wonderful donation.
